Applications
Hard tissue sectioning is primarily used in orthopedics, dentistry, materials science, and cardiovascular bypass research. It involves cutting hard tissues (including undemineralized bones and teeth) and even metals embedded within, such as titanium alloys. This method ensures that the tissue remains undistorted after sectioning, allowing for accurate morphological analysis, fluorescence observation, and image acquisition.
